So I got back into the gym this past week. By the time this posts (writing this on Sunday afternoon), I will have been there this morning to begin my second week back. It”s sort of a resolution, but sort of not. Even though I’ve lost 15 pounds doing MRT (217 lb. Friday morning!), I missed lifting weights these past 2-3 months.
Now that I feel up to par on some of the MRT workouts and exercises, I’m curious to see what effect it will have on my lifts. In my best shape, I did cardio in the afternoon/evening. But recumbent bike isn’t fun like MRT, so 2018 may be the first lifting with regular cardio years since about 2007 (when I weighed 182 lb.).
I have a 6-month goal, but I’m keeping it private for now.
Tomorrow’s workout? Chest and Biceps. On Wednesday, I’ll post my whole routine for those who are curious.
